Finnish design pioneer Oiva Toikka was searching for a way to hide joint marks in glass when he invented the groundbreaking Kastehelmi design. Inspired by nature, Kastehelmi (Finnish for “dewdrop”) features circles of raised glass droplets that resemble strings of dewdrops glistening under the morning sun. Kastehelmi plays with light, bringing out the reflective beauty of the glass. The soft glow that flows through the Kastehelmi candleholder creates warm ambience. Moss green brings a touch of nature that fits any interior. Striking alone or grouped in a collection. A lovely gift idea.

These votives are just lovely, and go well with my other Iittala pieces. I got some LED tea lights for them, so they will be easy to use in a lot of places without having to worry about setting my cats on fire!
