These work really well, but I don't understand what they're made of. What material makes it scrubby if it isn't plastic?

An eccellent scrubber! I like the way it works without scratching.
The originals were thinner and more pliable and I enjoyed them more than the these. Hopefully it will become less stiff with use. Heaven knows I will use it. They last forever.
