Giving this a 2 because it does function as intended. However, the quality is not where I was expecting it to be. I am uncertain if the stainless steel claim is true, or at minimum the quality of it.

I followed the setup directions to a tee to make sure I cared for the product as described. After one use I have discoloration on both the boiling chamber, and the juice/steam collection chamber. I purchased this after not having much luck identifying another with a clean (enough) supply chain. No ability to identify country of origin - so I am very skeptical on the quality.

Would advice against purchase. Will be returning.

MARJUKKA Stainless Steel Steamer/Juicer 8L

I was really pleased to find this versatile and high quality Juicer. We just had our first Pinot Noir harvest this year, and we gleaned the remaining fruit after harvest for use in juice for the kids. It was great! Easy to use and clean, the stainless steel is really great quality, and the base of the boiler is thick and great for even heat distribution for even boiling, no hot spots that cause explosive, splashing boiling. The deep colander holds A LOT of fruit, and a clever, volcano-like steam outlet through the juice collector that forces convection through the fruit and spreading to the sides for condensation. The silicone tube and matching clamp is easy to use and makes "pump-over" of the juice onto the fruit easy to do during the steam process.

Love the quality. Glad I bought this.

This was a gift for my daughter and she has not had a chance to use it yet.
My past experience with this steamer is that it is the perfect product for preparing fruit juices for making jams and jellies.
