Viitta, part of Maija's geometric patterns from the 1960s, shares similarities with the constructivism movement popular in Finland at the same time. Constructivism, beginning in Russia in the early 1900s, influenced many modern art and architecture movements such as De Stijl and Bauhaus. Viitta stands out with its abstractness and clear color surfaces.
The Viitta blanket is composed of 100% wool and is double-sided, with reversible colors. Its dimensions are 55" x 71".
